Augmentation by means of Cadaver Bone

The use of donor bones of deceased human beings (allogenic) represents another possibility for the augmentation of bone material. This human bone usually provides a high level of stability and tends to grow in very well by means of inducing a lively process of bone regeneration.

Most cases remain free of complications, however, there is a slight risk of disease transmission and immune reactions.

Additionally, allogenic material is more expensive than animal or synthetic material. For this reason, the use of endogenous material (produced naturally in the body) poses a good alternative.
